Parenthood Episode 12
Since this is my 1st blog about this show I thought I would start out a little different and give my opinion on what I believe to be a truly ground breaking show. Its not to often that a show like this comes along. Not only is this show brilliantly written, but the actor just work. They all really seem like a true family letting you in on whats going on in their lives. This show is so true to real life that I find a little piece of myself in each and every character, and my husband is truly Adam Braverman. When I watch the show with my husband we literally spend the whole hour saying “that is so you” (which sometimes causes arguments, but hey). You are along for the bumpy ride with these amazing real life characters; but some how at the end of every episode you see underneath all the drama, all the trivial bull shit, they are just a family. A family who loves each other for all their faults and promises not to judge you.
So onto business. In this episode we are introduced Adams my boss at T&S, Corey. Adam immediately learns that they have clashing personalities, which leads to some amazingly sticky situations. This prompts Adam to make a decision that no one (or maybe just I) did not see coming. In the last scene of the episode Adam is interviewing for another job. The interviewer is impressed with his resume but tells Adam to pretty much count his blessing if he already has a job.
Amber and Sarah’s relationship it taken to a new level when Amber decides to join an open mike night. Amber is reluctant at first to let her mom hear her original songs but eventually gives in, which of course leads to drama and Amber deciding to pull out of the performance. But ever the persistent mom Sarah convinces her to rejoin performance; however for these characters is was so much more then that. Sarah shared with Amber how much of herself she sees in her, including her faults. It was one of those amazing “real life’ moments in the show.
Crosby and Joel FINALLY came to an understanding with the school play, but it was not easy for Crosby. He basically had to admit that he could not do it without Joel and swallow his man pride and ask him to return to as director.
In the end, once again, the whole family turned our for Ambers performance and we got yet another a glimpse of who wonderful this family really is.
I give this episode 5 out of 5 roses for making me cry every week (yes I really cry every episode when I watch this show)

Bachelor Episode 2
Well it defiantly didn’t take long for the claws to come out. Raichel and Melissa brought the drama to episode 2, and no one even knows why they were fighting.
But Raichel and Melissa were not the only ones heading up the drama club, Michelle was not to far behind. She made it very clear not only was it her 30th birthday but she was going to get the attention and the rose. With Raichel and Melissa gone I defiantly see Michelle and the “Vienna” of Brad’s 2nd season, but we will have to wait and see.
With all the drama aside Brad had 2 amazing one on one dates with to really beautiful girls, Ashley H and Jackie. Brad and Ashely H had a cute carnival date, and Brad took Jackie on a Pretty Woman reenactment date. Both girls received roses and made a connection with Brad. Michelle also received a rose on her group date and Emily received a rose after surprise guests Roberto and Ali selected her form the women as a good fit for Brad.
But in the end 3 girls were sent packing (Raichel, Melissa, and Keltie) and Brad is one step closer to finding his true love.
The season is off to a good start and here are some of my early favorites: Ashley H, Ashely S, and Emily
I give Bachelor episode two 3 out of 5 roses, hopefully more drama is coming

The Bachelor Season 15 Premiere
Well there is not much to say other then why are they bringing Brad back?
The season premiere was the typical Bachelor season premiere, limos driving up, awkward first meetings, and the girls fighting for the ever curvetted “one on one time.” What made this premiere different from Bachelor seasons past is that they brought back DeAnna Pappas and Jenni Croft, the ladies that Bachelor Brad gave the boot on his first go around as the bachelor. The tension was thick and of course they questioned his intensions, but Brad claims he is a changed man and quotes the ever popular “ I am here for the right reasons.”
Well Brad, only time (and ratings) will tell; but we will see if Chris Harrison is right when he said his favorite line at the end of the episode “this is our most dramatic season yet.”
so as far as Bachelor premiers go it was pretty typical, here is hoping for some more drama in upcoming episodes.
I give Bachelor season 15 premier 3 out of 5 roses
